As the Thai community in the San Francisco Bay Area grows bigger and bigger in the last decade, many groups of Thai people are thinking that there is a need to have a concentrated area where Thai people can come together and build a strong center to spread Thai culture and boost Thai businesses. Although, there are many Thai temples and Thai restaurants in the Bay Area, they are spread out, making it hard to centralize like Little Saigon, Japan Town or China Town. A Thai Town could be an important venue to promote Thai culture and tourism to Thailand.
